Show Five Vacancies Still Remain in School Teaching Staff One more teacher has accepted terms and signed a contract to teach in the local schools, but five vacancies remain in the teaching staff. Edward T. Schoenfeld, native of Ohio and graduate of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University, has been employed to teach art in the Cedar Ce-dar City Junior and Senior High Schools, lie has been a student assistant in the B Y U art department depart-ment for the past two years. Mr, Schoenfeld will succeed Miss Irene Muir, who resigned to take employment in business. Two vacancies remain to be filled in the Cedar Junior High School. A teacher in mathematics mathema-tics is needed to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of La-mont La-mont Bennett, who has been ap-! pointed principal of the Millard High School at Fillmore. No one has yet been employed to replace Don Ford, who was killed recently re-cently in an airplane crash. He was in charge of student guidance guid-ance at the school. Three vacancies remain in the Parowan teaching staff, a third grade teacher in the elementary school, and commercial and girls physical education instructors in the high school. |
