Show Karl B.KenneyGets Wings in Air Force Exercises . : J y ..v ::;..., I - KARL B. KENNEY Lt. Karl B. Kenney, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Glen Kenney of Cedar Ce-dar City, has been presented his silver wings at Williams Air Force Base, Ariz., according to a release received here this week. Kenney has qualified as a jet pilot with the United States Air Force. The graduating class at the Arizona base was composed of students from the Republib of Columbia, France and the USSA. Graduation .ceremonies included includ-ed a review, flight line exercises exer-cises and a formal review of approximately ap-proximately 10OO aviation cadets prior to exercises in honor of the graduating class. Carl A. Sauer, president of the American Institute of Foreign Trade delivered the principal address ad-dress at the evercises, and Major Richard Butner, wing adjutant, commissioned the graduates as second lieutenants in the U. S. Air Force. Karl entered the aviation cadet ca-det program through the R O T C at the College of Southern Utah and continued the program at the Utah State Agricultural Col-lego Col-lego prior to being called to active ac-tive duty. |
