Show Funeral Services Held for Carter B. Williams Funeral services for Carter B. Williams, who died at Orem, Utah, on August 22nd, were conducted con-ducted in Kanarra on August 26 by Bishop Elton Stout. The musical program included two vocal duets by Myles Walker Walk-er and Ray Cosslett, accompanied accompani-ed by Mrs. Beth Leigh, all of Ce-car Ce-car City; a vocal solo by Mr. Walker, a xylophone solo by Marian Prince of St. George, accompanied ac-companied by Boyd Reeves, and the closing song, "Beyond The Sunset" by LaRee Pollock, Verlyn Stout and Ferl Zohner, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Pollock. Invocation was by P. J. Williams Wil-liams of Cedar City, benediction by John Henry Williams, and dedication de-dication of the grave by Samuel F. Leigh of Cedar City. Military honors at the cemetery were un- cer the direction of the American Legion and National Guard of Cedar City. Speakers were Guy C. Tucker pnd Charles R. Hunter of Cedar City and William H. Graff of St. George. Carter is survived by his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Noel B. Williams, Wil-liams, and the following brothers broth-ers and sisters: Gordon and Douglas Williams and Mrs. Dorothy Doro-thy Stuck! of Cedar City; Fosh Williams of Salt Lake City, Stanley Stan-ley and Darlene Williams of Kanarra, and Bryce Williams, with the U. S. Navy at Oakland, California. Burial was at the Kanarra cemetery under the direction of the Jensen Mortuary of Cedar City. |
