Show Four Pass Draft j Exams, Ten More Men Ordered Of the seven men who reported report-ed from the local draft board to Fort Douglas last week for pre-induction pre-induction physical examinations, four have definitely passed, two failed the examination, and the status of a transfer is unknown. Those who have passed the exam are: Ward Middleton and David Allen Lunt. Cedar C.ty. and Clarence Benson, Jr. and Donald N. Mitchell, both of Par-owan. Par-owan. The status of Robert D. Young, transfer from a Colorado board, is not known yet. Two other men were classified I D by the local hoard and did not have to report for the exam. Dale Christensen, Kanarra, had joined the National Nation-al Guard, and Drew Leonard Haight. had Joined the ROTC unit at the Branch Agricultural college, putting them both In ai 1-D classification. Two other men from this hoard, Garth Barney and Philo Gardner Winkle, have ben transferred to nt.other board and are being examined ex-amined some time this week as part of the quota of the local board. Ten more men will be ordered up for exams on September IS by the local board, but selection has not yet been made. |
