Show Legion Plans Canyon Party Saturday Sponsored by the Cedar City American Legion Post, a big free canyon party is in the offing Saturday evening August 7 at the BAC ranch home in Cedar canyon. Post Commander James i Hoyle reports that a fine menu (has been arranged, including I Virginia baked ham, corn on the (cob, french fried potatoes, and , all the trimmings, for all past, 1947, and present, 1918, American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary members. Commander Hoyle said that the serving will begin at approximately approx-imately 6:30 p. m. but games are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p. m. for all attending who are able to arrive early. Mr. Hoyle suggested sug-gested that all members bring their own plates and other necessary neces-sary utensils. All interested are urged to call the Veterans Center, James Hoyle, Mrs. Helen Bulloch at the Cedar City Floral, or at her home, or Mrs. Hal Christensen, for reservations reser-vations before 8 p. m. Friday evening. |
