Show Annual Spring Illness Expected to Start Saturday at 5 a.m. A certain spring malady, often of-ten accompanied by various types of symptoms and popularly popular-ly known as "Fishing Fever" will take hold in Cedar City Satur-day Satur-day as the fishing season opens at 5 a. m. Wildlife organizations, wardens war-dens and the Fish and Game Commission have cooperated again in stocking most popular fishing areas in order to satisfy most of the anglers in the state. Right hand canyon has again been stocked with fish and signs have been put up for Kid Fishing Fish-ing only. It is hoped that the sportsmen will leave this area for the youngsters. Trout season runs from Saturday Satur-day to and including October 8. The entire state is open for fishing fish-ing except all waters within and adjacent to all properties owned or operated by the State Fish and Game department for propagation purposes as marked and posted on the ground. Fish Lake will be closed on September Septem-ber 17, 1950. Size limit this year is a 7 inch minimum, with daily bag limit at 7 pounds andor one fish or 12 fish, whichever is caught first. Possession limit is the same as the daily bag limit. Fishing hours during the season sea-son are from 5 a. m. until 9 p. m. Regulations this year also prohibit pro-hibit fishing from any boat, raft or floating device on Duck Creek Spring, Mirror Aspen Lake on Duck Creek, and Pine Valley reservoir. |
