Show Air Force Sends New Officer For BflC Military Another officer has been assigned as-signed to the Air ROTC unit at the branch Agricultural college, according to Maj. Oliver W. Harris, Har-ris, head of the unit, the assignment assign-ment being made on the strength of the school obtaining a three-year three-year program, beginning in the fall. Capt. C. B. Maloney is expected here within a week and will teach third year work in administration. admin-istration. Capt. Maloney is originally orig-inally from Nort Cache, but comes to Cear City from Hamilton Ham-ilton AFB ir California. This brings the military staff at the B A C to three officers and three enlisted men. Maj. Harris, in commenting on the anticipated third year program, pro-gram, reminded GIs that they are eligible to go right into the third year of the course as cadet officers. Deadline for veterans to register under the GI Bill is July 25, and registration of veterans is now being handled at the college. Third and fourtn year ROTC students receive $32 per month pay, according to Maj. Harris. Upon receiving their commissions, commis-sions, they serve for two years on active duty. |
