Show library Problem Tops Agenda For City Council Most important item taken up at the City Council at its meeting meet-ing last Thursday was the prob-lem prob-lem of the city's library, which appears in another story in this issue of the Record. However, a few other matters were also taken care of at the meeting. Mayor L. V. Broadbent appointed a Board of Equalization Equaliza-tion for the special improvement sidewalk district on Main street. Sitting on the board will be councilman Frank Milne, Marion Grames and J. L. Fakler. The city manager reported to the council that the pump has been set up at the site of the well on Martin's flat in Cedar canyon, and a 10 in. pipe is being be-ing installed this week to connect con-nect the well with the city system. sys-tem. In addition, the city is working work-ing on obtaining a Spring just above the power house which may provide over 100 gallons of water per minute to the culinary supply of the city. |
