Show Southern Utah Men Enlist in Air Force Three Cedar City boys, one from Milford and one from Hurricane, Hur-ricane, have enlisted in the Air Force for a four year period, and have been sent to Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas for basic training, according accord-ing to Sgt. Lopez, local recruiting recruit-ing officer. The three Cedar City boys are Joseph W. Rocco, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rocco; Bailey L. Hamblin, son of Mrs. Delia Knight, and Carmen J. Garcia, son of Mrs. Verlean Olds. The other two are Bert W. O' Leary, milford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. O'Leary, and Larry A. Lemmon, Hurricane, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Nathaniel Lemmon. Lem-mon. Saturday, July 14, is the deadline dead-line for applications for enlistment enlist-ment in the air force for men who have had their pre-induction physical examinations, Sgt. Lopez Lo-pez states. For the benefit of young men who wish to confer on the enlistment requirements, Sgt. Lopez will be in the Army and Air Force recruiting office in the Federal building in Cedar City, all day Friday and until 9 p. m. Saturday. |
