Republicans Name Committees For Coming Election Showing none of the apathy that has marked pre election activities ac-tivities in other major Utah cities. cit-ies. Cedar City Republicans have laid plans for a vigorous campaign cam-paign preceding the November 8 election. At an organization meeting Tuesday night, precinct chairman chair-man met with officials of the city Republican organization to elect committee members, it was reported by D. C. Schmutz, par-ty par-ty chairman. Each of the seven committees chosen is setting up a program aimed at getting the Issues be fore all citizens and getting out the vote. Under the chairman, ship of Dr. John Beal, a platform committee met Wednesday night to put the current platform into final form. Patrick Fenton was appointed campaign nvr.ager, to be assisted by James rloyle and Loren Whetten. Other committee heads appointed were: Glen Froyd. finance; Theo Corry and Grant Seegmiller, "Get-outthe-vote"; Glen Heaton, registration: Durham Morris, organization, and Edwin L. Teterson, publicity and advertising. j
