Show Prepare to Poison Trash Fish at Yankee Representatives of the State Fish and Game department and members of the local Gun and Rod club have been preparing for the elimination of trash fish from the Yankee reservoir for the past two weeks and work on the program will get underway this week end we understand. The work will be under the direction di-rection of local game warden S. M. Clark and Reed Henderson, superintendent of the Panguitch fish hatchey. An attempt will be made to poison the reservoir reser-voir to eliminate the trash fish trat have become a nuisance there. All game fish will be taken ta-ken out as far as possible before the reservoir is poisoned, and moved to other waters if the plan proves feasible. The reservoir is as low as it can get now and it was felt that this would be an ideal year for the project to be undertaken. |
