The bride is a graduate of Cedar Ce-dar City schools and the groom attended school in Lehi. He Is well known in the state as a promising heavyweight boxer and has appeared in many fight cards in Salt Lake City. "Joe" was a good fellow at heart! These men of supposed education and broad experience may have condoned the blood upon the hands of Joseph Stalin I could not do so and even more terrible to me than the taking of lives is the "scaring of the living", men, women and children who' walk in darkness and are doomed to do so all the rest of their lives! Who even if they are freed will bear the scarring! These who have no God and thus no Good! Congress was in session It would have sooken the will ol the people and perhaps a little more consideration might have been given the whole situation had the President not spoken. Time alone will prove the wisdom wis-dom or folly of choosing this particular place to set up the standards of freedom they are now set and we are committed. But it is only wisdom on our part to ask why here? To question ques-tion our foreign policies of many ma-ny years back to learn something some-thing from error an error so grave it might even prove fatal! Our conscience must be arousedwe arous-edwe must be alerted to the grave dangers facing us. It should be a time of meditation medita-tion of real prayer and, of much faith. George. |
