Show Last Rites Set Friday for Columbus day. 75 Columbus Burt Gray, 75, formerly for-merly of Minersville, died Tuesday Tues-day of causes incident to age at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Max Mecham of Cedar City. For more than 50 years, Mr. Gray had lived in Minersville, where he was engaged in the freighting and farming business. He retired 15 years ago. He has lived with his daughter in Cedar City for the past four months. He was born in St. George on March 27, 1874,, a son of Benjamin Ben-jamin B. and Jurusha Burdick Gray. In 1898 he married Isabelle Goff in Beaver and lived there since Mrs. Gray died in 1918. Survivors are two sons, Francis Fran-cis L. Gray, Orem; Delmar B. Gray, Minersville; three daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Mecham, Cedar City; Mrs. G. W. Eyre, Milford and Mrs. H. K. Goodwin, Panaca, Nevada; Ne-vada; 24 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. in Minersville Miners-ville LDS ward chapel, with burial bur-ial in the Minersville cemetery. |
