Show Governor Designates Special Week There seems to be nothing quite so important among the senses of man as his eyesight. Most of what we do in our lives is dependent upon good vision. From the toil of labor to the pleasures of entertainment. Modern Mod-ern living is placing heavier demands de-mands on good vision, what with the higher speeds of traffic, the advent of television, the demands of eye-pleasing displays, etc. These new demands on our eyes bring into focus the importance of having and maintaining good vision. The Utah Optometric Association As-sociation and other similar organizations or-ganizations throughout the nation na-tion are recognizing tr-? value -f good vision by obse; zing "Save Your Vision Week". Here in Utah I am designating ine pviiisu ui luaitii 11 maun 11. 1950, as "Save your Vision Week". During the weeK the necessity and value of eye care should be given careful attention. So much in our lives depends upon good eyesight that every effort should be made to preserve those delicate deli-cate sense organs which make sight possible. J. BRACKEN LEE, Governor of Utah. |
