Show C of C Re-appoints Committee hi Municipal Airport With bids to be opened this week for erection of an administration adminis-tration building at the Cedar City municipal airport, the Chamber of Commerce has re-appointed its Airport committee, in order that the group might be able to continue con-tinue its activities without interruption. inter-ruption. The committee is composed of M. J. Urie, chairman; Paul Cox, board member; Myron F. Higbce, Morris C. Roberts, Royce Knight, Roy Walters, Jack Todd, Reed Bradshaw and L. V. Broadbent. Two changes were also made in the Chamber Golf Course committee. com-mittee. Dr. F. B. Parkinson was released as chairman, and Homer Jones was named as chairman to succeed him. Dr. Parkinson will continue to serve on the committee, and in addition Steve Asmus was named as an additional addi-tional member of the group. This group is seeking expert advice on locations in this area, and on construction costs, for providing pro-viding Cedar City with a good standard course. When this information in-formation is assembled, a definite defin-ite program of development will be decided upon. |
