Granger of Cedar Ce-dar City has teen honored by election elec-tion as chairman of a party unit In the national capitol. The article .ubllshed In the Salt Lake Tribune Monday, is as follows: In a special executive session of a group of congressmen known as the Tuesday Night Group, Representative Repre-sentative W. K. Granger was elected elec-ted chairman, the first time a U-tah U-tah congressional member has been elected leader of any organized group. The group is made up of aboui 50 young Democrats in the house, chiefly liberals, who have organized organ-ized to fight for their party policies in Congress so America can "win the peace." It Is called the Tuesday Night Group to make it plain that the membership is tied to any definite policy or program. The group held its first meeting more than a month ago, and is already al-ready recognized as having put new life into party membership. All house Democrats were invited to attend and the mmbershlp is not confined to any one bloc, members are permitted to discuss any subject they think important.
