Show P. T. A. Sponsors Audiometer Tests An audiometer test, sponsored by the Parent-Teachers Association, was completed this week In the Cedar City schools with the hear ing of 497 student of the Fourth and Sixth Grades of the elementary school and tenth and eleventh grades of the high school tested. Of this number of students only 3 j percent were found to have hearing . defects. Those who showed signs of de- ( fects in the first test, were given a second test and the results studied stud-ied In order that corrective suggestions sug-gestions may be formulated for each student. It Is the hope of the P. T. A. officials to continue this program pro-gram next year in order that every child in school may have the advantage ad-vantage of early detection of hearing hear-ing defects.
