Show First Nurses Aide Trainees Complete Work This Week The fust graduation cla.ss for Cedar City people completing training train-ing under the war emergency program pro-gram will be held on Wednesday, May 5. when twelve women who have competed the Nurses Aid-Class Aid-Class will rereive caps and certificates certifi-cates for their training. The exercises exer-cises will be held in the L. D. 3. Institute Chapel at 8 p. m. with Henry Obrrhansley, chairman of the iron County Red Cross conducting. con-ducting. The Nurses Aide cla.ss was given under the sponsorship of th American Red Cross. The women completed their work ut the hospital this week, and are now ready to become full fledged Nur ese Aides and will assist at the hospital or will perform other Civilian Ci-vilian Defense duties in line with their training. "The community should be proud of the women who are willing to give the community such a service." ser-vice." Mrs. N. J. Barlow, chairman of the Nuisei Aide commttiee for the Red Cross stated this week when announcing the graduation service. Music for the occasion will be under the direction of Mrs. G. O. Larson. The women who will be honored on Wednesday evening are: Mrs. Lloyd A.len, Mrs. Albert Albertson, Mrs. M. S. Burgess, Mrs. Erma Jones, Mrs. Rass Jones, Mrs. Hy-rum Hy-rum Kunz. Mis. Sherman Lamb. Mrs. Glendon Llston, Mrs. Heber Sevy, Mrs. E. G. Whltehccd, Mrs. Rulon Wood, and Mrs. William Young. Mrs. Glen Froyd has been instructor in-structor for the courc which Included In-cluded 40 hours of class instruction instruc-tion and 40 hours of supervised work at the iron County hospital.
