Show Apostle Widtsoe To Address Institute -Seminary Graduates IBB i Hill 1 1 Graduates of the Cedar City L. D. S. Institute of Religion and L. D. S. Seminary will receive their diplomas at Joint commencement exercises at the First Ward Chapel Sunday evening, May 2nd. Tha exerciser will open with the March of the Graduates at 8 p. m. Apostle John A. Widtsoe w.ll deliver de-liver the address to the graduates, and present the diplomas to the Institute graduates. Seminary graduates grad-uates will receive their diplomas from Stake President David L. Sargent. The Institute graduating class will include twenty student.-., while Seminary class. forty-six students will make up the The address of Welcome will be delivered by Willard Armstrong of the Seminary Class, while Miss Betty Lou Jones will represent the Institute class with a talk on ' Spiritual Spir-itual Power." The invocation will be by Ray Haun Gleave of the In--.titute and benediction by William Esplin of the Seminary. Musical numbers will Include a song "The Song of Peace" by the Seminary graduates; a number, "Within a Dreaming Harbor," by the B. A. C. Girls' Chorus, under the direction of William II. Manning; Man-ning; and Tschaikowskle's "Adagio Lamcntoso,' by the B. A. C. String Ensemble composed of Marolyn Jones, Bethel Sylvester, Barbara Farnsworthf Leslie Rollo and Barbara Bar-bara Bryner, under the direction of Roy L. Halversen. The String En emble will also play the Prelude. |
