Rollo, for the month of February was filed. The report showed that during February a total of $414.00 had been collected in fines and ball forfeitures during the month. The city garbage collector's contract con-tract with the city will expire on June 1st., and indications are that it will be necessary for the council to find a new contractor, provide city owned equipment to do the )b. or abandon the service. Plans are tlso underway to ell-;mlnate ell-;mlnate the constant trouble encountered en-countered at the water culvert crossing Main Rtreet at Center street by removing the irrigation canal from Center street to First South ctreet. Under this plan the canal will follow First 8outh street to Third West and then be taken 'down Third West in front of the College campus. The city also has under advisement advise-ment a plan to provide public rest rooms in the business district. |
