Show Selective Service Quota Three Short Iron County's March quota of men to be inducted Into military service under Selective Service, will i probably be three short as the result re-sult of action taken by the Selective Selec-tive Board during the past week. As the result of pleas made before be-fore the Board by residents of Par-lowan, Par-lowan, Merrel Bentley Bayles, manager man-ager of the Parowan Creamery, was granted a thirty-day delay of Induction. Gordon Williams of Ce-dar Ce-dar City may also be given a thirty-day delay of induction because of his daughter's illness. Kenyon Durham Robinson, son of James C. Robinson was granted a deferrment until June 1st. ,to help with his father's livestock activities. Twenty-two men had been or- dered to report for Induction on (March 12th., Including, besides the mentioned above, the following . men: Fenton Gray, Joseph Cliff Fost-er. Fost-er. Victor Harold Butcher, Ray Lewis Jensen, Jack LeRoy Crosby, Clark Andrew Lamoreaux, Scott Batt, Edward Colton Sumner, Max Kay Clark and Garth W. Sherratt. of Cedar City. Ronald Rowley, Floyd J. Hyatt, John Smith Mortensen, Richard DeMllle, Alma Evans, Ferris Merle Evans, Bruce Dalton Adams, Hardl- (Son Decker Adams, and Lloyd Gurr Guymton. |
