Show Farm Loan Ass'n. Elects New Officers j At a meeting of the stockholders of the Cedar City National Farm Loan Association, lield in Cedar ! City on February 28th, approximately approxim-ately seventy-fjve stockholders and guests enjoyed talks by J. W. Gill-man Gill-man of orem, Utah, a director of the Farm Credit Administration, j and J. H. Jensen, Associate Regional Region-al Manr.ger of Utah for the Federal Fed-eral Land Bank of Berkeley. Mr. Oilman reviewed the history of cooperative farm credit since the passage of 'the Farm Loan Act of 1917. t nd reported that the Federal Land Bank of Berkeley Is now owned entirely by the national farm loan associations whose merr.l'jers are Federal Lund Bank borrower,. Mr. Jenson explained, the relationship rela-tionship of the farm credit system to the local national farm loan associations. Sgt. Wallace Odd, who had spent hree jears In the African and Italian Ital-ian theaters of Wf; related some very interesting experiences and answered many questions asked from tlie audience. The election of directors disclosed dis-closed the following results: Rolce B. Nelson. Cedar City, and Clarence A. Lewis, Overton, Nevada, were elected for terms of three years and Samuel o. White, Beaver, for each; Lindau Forema.'ter St. George, terms of two years each, and O. F. Hutchinson, Kanosh, for a term of one year. |
