Show Local Employees Under Control of Stabilization Plan An employment stabilization plan ( was announced last week end for the Utah industrial area, and although al-though It specifically included only . sixteen counties of the state, it has I a direct bearing on employees m j l essential Industry in all parts of the state. Iron county was not included in-cluded In the plan, but people from this county cannot go into the industrial in-dustrial area to work without ref-I ref-I erencc from the employment service. ser-vice. Details of the stabilization have been announced as follows: All persons whose most . recent or usual employment was in essential essen-tial agricultural activities are not to be hired in any other type of employment except as referred by United States Employment Service offices. No employer, whether or not engaged en-gaged In essential activities within or without the area, shall hire any worker in a critical occupation or in an essential Industry and now in the critical area, for work within with-in or without the area without a referral from the USES or other approved hiring agencies. No employe, whether or not engaged en-gaged In essential activities, shall hire for work to be performed In the area, any Individual who, on the effective date of the plan, did not reside within the area or was 1 not employed in work performed In the area, except with the consent of the USES.
