Show New Teachers Added To Branch College Faculty Because of the demands of the pre-fllght training program Inaugurated Inaug-urated at the Branch Agricultural College new faculty members have been added. Two members were announced today by Director Henry Oberhans-ley, Oberhans-ley, who said that they were appointed ap-pointed temporarily until officially named by the Board of Trustees. Oeorge M. Hess, with a B. S. degree in agriculture from the U. S. A. C, andJ who has done graduate gradu-ate work in administration and psychology, was named to teach classes in Geography. Mr. Hess has taught in Cedar City High School the last six years following a term as Superintendent of the Oarfield county schools. He Is active In Cedar Ce-dar City In the L D. S. Church and as a Corporal in the State Guard. With Mr. Hess was named Wlssls Robinson who will teach physics, Director Oberhansley said. Mr. Robinson Rob-inson has been director of mathematics math-ematics and sclende departments at the Lincoln County High School In Panaca, Nevada for the last thirteen years. A graduate from the Brlgham Yjsung University Mr. Robinson has done extensive graduate grad-uate study In administration and physics. He has taught in Utah and Arizona schools. In Panaca Mr. Robinson was a member of the L. D. S. Bishopric for eighteen years, the last three of which he was Bishop. Accompanying Mr. Robinson Robin-son are his wife and three children child-ren the oldest of which la enrolled in the 9th grade. ' Other faculty members will be added to the B. A. C. staff as the number of flying cadets are increased in-creased at the school, Director Oberhansley explained. , |
