Show 1st. Lt. John P. Lamb Marries In England On May 3rd. First Lieutenant John Present t Lamb, son of Sheriff Sher-iff and Mrs. Sherman C. Lamb of Cedar City, Miss Pamela Prudy Win-nald Win-nald Prentice, daughter cf Captain and Mrs Frank Winnald Prentice of Bournsmouth. Southbourne. England, Eng-land, were married ot a ceremony performed in England. Following the ceremony a wedding wed-ding reception was held at the home of the bride, after which the couple left for a quiet honeymoon at a England Coastal town. A guest at the reception was Flight Officrr Sherman D. Lamb, brother of the groom, who was stationed in England Eng-land with the United Statrs Eigth Air Force. 1st. Lt Lamb, who has been serving serv-ing with a Field Artillery unit of the U. E. First Army, has been overseas' since February, 1943. He partici-l puted in the African and Sicilian campaigns, and later transferred to England, participating In the Invasion In-vasion of France, and in th" subsequent sub-sequent actions of the American forces until the fall of Germany. He left C drr City with the National Na-tional Guard in March, 1941, and has a tctal of 113 points to his credit, under the arm's point release re-lease schedule. Howjver, because of his officer rank, he may not be released re-leased from s"rvice until th campaign cam-paign against Japan Is ended. |
