Subscriptions Sub-scriptions will be accepted at 75c for three months, or $1.50 for a six months period. It Is also necessary to rake tlu advertising rate, and beginning January 1st, 1940, dl.'pi.iy advertising advertis-ing in the Record will cost 30c per column inch. We have continued throughout the war period at our pre-war rates for subscription and advertising in the hopes 'that prices would be held down and we would be able to continue on that basis after the war. However costs have continued to go up, and It becomes abdo'utely necessary to make the Increase now. In spite of the fact that th Record nijoys a circulation hlghir thun almost al-most any weekly paper in the state we have maintained our pvc-war pi ices, and have had the lowest rates in the state, and now it becomes be-comes necessary that we charge prices comparable to those in effect ef-fect throughout the state, i |
