Show Cedar Teachers Resign; Four Vacancies Remain Superintendent of Schools Ian-thus Ian-thus Wright is faced with the necessity nec-essity of replacing at least four teachers before school opens after the Christmas vacation. Although he has a few prospects for the vacancies va-cancies he is not yet able to say who will be In this position when school opens. Frank Dalley, who has been teaching in the sixth grade of the Cedar elementary school since returning re-turning from military duty in the Pacific, has resigned to accept a position 'with the United States Employment Service. Two teachers, Miss Diane Booth, third gfcadle teacher, and Miss Dorothy Bradshaw, Home Economics Econ-omics teacher in the Junior High have resigoed and will be married. Mrs. Henrietta Jones Harris, also a teacher In the Junior high, has also resigned and will not return after the holidays. Kirk Daly, former Junior high school teacher, who left to enter military service, has been released and will return, taking a position in the Cedar high school, providing he can find a place to rent so that he can move his family to Cedar City. To date he has not found a place to live, and reports that he will not leave his family to come here to teach, but would like to accept a position here If this problem prob-lem can be overcome. |
