Show Broncos Play Return Game With Hillfield Saturday The Branch Agricultural College basketball team will play another practice game in the local gymnasium gym-nasium Saturday night, meeting the powerful Hillfield team in a return re-turn game. The Broncos were defeated by the Hillfielders In a game played at Ogden last week end, but the B. A. C. squad are determined to make a better showing in the game here this week and another real battle Is assured. Bob Lunt has recovered sufficiently suffi-ciently !rom faltball injuries to get in the basketball fight, and Reed Rosenberg, who injured a shoulder in the first practice series of the season, will probably be ready to go again Saturday, addling addl-ing strength to the Broncos. However, How-ever, the team will be without the services of Dale Milne, stellar guard, who fractured his hand on Christmas day, and will be badly missed. One new 'player has been added to the squad, Junior Anderson, a center on the Delta high school region championship team last year, having registered for the winter quarter. Following the game Saturday, the Broncos will play two more practice games betore swinlng into league competition, meeting Fort I Douglas here in a two game series ser-ies on January 4th and 5th. |
