Show Annual New Year's Eve Banquet-Dance Resumed By Chamber of Commerce Everything Is in retidiness for the annual New Year's Eve party of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce, Com-merce, according to Kumen L. Jones, chairman of the committee in charge of arrangements. Mr. Jones is being assisted' by Cliff Ewlng, Tom Cardon and D. C. Dix Mr. Jones states that for the first time since the opening of the war the annual Chamber party will take its usual form of a banquet and dance and gives promise of being one of the finest celebrations the organization has held In many years. Thp banquet will be held at the Escalante Hotel at 7:30 p.m. Monday Mon-day evening, with "the New Year's Eve ball to follow immediate afterwards. Everyone Is invited to Join in the festivities. Ballots for the annual election of officers, held in connection with the year-end function, have Deen mailed to all members, and the results will be announced during the dance. Nominations for the election have been made as follows: For president: Clarence Lam-oreaux Lam-oreaux and H. M. Endsley. For vice president: Parley Anderson and ElwoocT Corry. For two year term directors; twj to be elected: L. V. Broadbent, Ed. Harrell. Lee Llston, and Fred Bic-derman Bic-derman , For one year term director: Kumen Ku-men Gardner, and Adam Seegmll-ler. |
