Show Tipton A. Ahlstrom Dies of Heart Attack, Funeral Held Dec. 26 Funeral 'services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon, December 26th. In the First Ward Chapel for Tipton Ahlstrom, 63, who died Saturday of a heart attack following a two-week I illness from Influenza, i The services were conducted by Bishop H. P. Dotson, and Included the following program: Opening song, "Thou Deepening Trials," by a quartet composed of Wm. Macfarlane, Ray Cosslett, Miles Walker, and E. B. Dalley, and accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Romona Lee. Prayer by Wm. Macfarlar.e. Talk by Parley E. Anderson. Piano solo, "Oh My Father," by Frank Van Cott. , Talk by II. a. Lunt. Song, "Oh, That Flowery Land," by a mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Anette Betenson, Mrs. Zelma Lunt. Ray Cosslett and Wm. Macfarlane. Mac-farlane. Talk by Dr. Paul K. Edmonds. Closing song, "Let The Lower Lights Be Burning," by the male quartet. Benediction by George W. Grim-shaw. Grim-shaw. Dedication of the grave by Parson Par-son U. Webster. Mr. Alhstrom was oorn at Enoch on May 25, 1882, a son of Charles and Anna Ahlstrom. He was a farmer farm-er and livestock man most of his life, and at the time of his death was building custodian at the bank of southern Utah. He married Lillian Cox, Cedar City, In the St. George LDS Temple April 18, 1906. Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ro!ey Venice. Cal. Ross Ahlstrom, San Diego Cal.. Olga and Harry Ahlstrom, Ahl-strom, Cedar City, and Leonard with the army in China; six brothers brot-hers and sisters, Alonzo Ahlstrom, Mrs. Caroline Jordan, Mrs. Kate Gardner, Cedar City; Byron Ahlstrom, Ahl-strom, Redondo Beach. Cal.; David Ahlstrom, Provo, and Magnus Ahlstrom, Ahl-strom, Callente, Nevada. |
