Show FARMERS, STOCKMEN AND FARM LABORERS MUST FILE INCOME TAX STATEMENT According to a statement Issued this week by the Bureau of Internal In-ternal revenue, every farmer or stockman, or laborers who work In this industry, and who had a total income of 1500 or more during the 1948 colendar year, must flic .u Income tax return. Anyone ' included In this group must file a declaration or income, form 1040-lS by January IS, 1947. If this declaration la filed by January Jan-uary IS, 1947, a completed return, 1040 and 1040-F must also be filed by March IS., 1947. If a farmer or stockman desires to do so he may file a completed income tax return, on form 1040 and 1040-F by January IS. The completed return will then serve as both a declaration or income and final return. This will do away with toe necessity of making the final filing on March 15th, and completes Federal Income tax requirements for the year 1946. A deputy collector of Internal revenue re-venue will be at Room 210, Post Office building In Cedar City, on January 4, S and 6, 1947 from the hour of .8 a. m. to 5 p. m. to give any advice needed. This service Is provided by the Income Tax bureau and no charge will be made for this service. |
