Show HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WILL BE TAUGHT SAFE, CORRECT AUTO DRIVING As a part of the Cedar City Junior Jun-ior Chamber of Commerce safety program, a course in automobile driving is being organized at the local high school. An automobile has already been purchased by the high school and Junior Chamber for use in the course which will Include, besides the mechanics of driving, intense training in the basic mechanical mech-anical fundamentals of a car, traffic traf-fic laws, courtesy rules, etc. All students of the school will be encouraged en-couraged to take the course when they reach the age at which the law permits them to drive. ' It is felt that such a course will be of unlimited value in teaching the young people of the community to drive safely and correctly before be-fore they are granted a driver's license by the state, and will help considerably in reducing accidents and traffic violations among the younger drivers. .... . |
