The Farm Security Is able to i make loans to farmers who can1 qualify, but there Is considerable Investigation and planning neces- i sary before the loan can be approved, and therefore, anyone I anticipating a loan should make his wants known early and not I wait until next spring when delay !' Anyone considering applying for a loan should be In attendance at one of these meetings. It would be well to contact the Farm Security Se-curity office in Cedar City before these dates according to Newel F. Wasden. Loans can be made to farmers to buy livestock, machinery, or make minor repairs to buildings. The loans are for a period of five years and carry Interest at 5 per cent. Cooperative purchase of ma-chlnery ma-chlnery or purebred sires Is encouraged. en-couraged. The interest rate for group purchase is 3 per cent. Rehabilitation loans are made only to farm families who cannot get adequate credit anywhere else at reasonable terms. Farmers who borrow from Farm Security arc given farm and home management supervision and are asked to keep accounts of their farming business.
