Show CEDAR ROTARIANS HEAR SELECTIONS FROM HANDEL'S "MESSIAH" AT MEETING The members of the Cedar City Rotary club were given an opportunity op-portunity to preview parts of Handel's Han-del's "Messiah" at their regular meeting Tuesday, when the string Instrument group who will furnish the music for the presentation Sunday Sun-day evening, was introduced by Roy L. Halversen and played several sev-eral selections taken from the famed fam-ed oratorio. Two of the soloists of this year's production, Herschell Neeley who will handle the tenor solos, and Otto Fife, the basso, were also Introduced by William H. Manning, Man-ning, director. Following the musical program which was given under the direction of the music committee, Henry Ob-erhansley, Ob-erhansley, director of the Branch Agricultural College, spoke briefly on the meeting of livestock men and college people to be held in Cedar City Saturday at which time problems confronting the livestock industry will be discussed. |
