On the follow-'ing follow-'ing afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Demele had their infant child christened at the Catholic church by Rev. Father Man-ion. Man-ion. After the christening ceremony the party and a number of their Eureka Eu-reka friends enjoyed a dinner at the Merialdo hotel, which was followed in the evening by a social good time and dance. Dr.'C. G. Gorden left for a two weeks viit to California Thursday. John Pardv will be in charge of the People's drug store during Iris absence. Chester Paul, the young son of C. A. Paul of Ely, was taken to San Francisco Fran-cisco last week to undergo a surgical operation for a disease of the spine. Sentinel. |
