Leonard entertained enter-tained the Sewing club Wednesday afternoon. aft-ernoon. Mrs. David Keith and her small son, David, returned Monday evening from a stay of several weeks at Terminal island. They came by the Southern racilic. Mr. and Mrs. M. Ryan announce the marriage of their daughter. Edna A., to Roy R. Huffman. The marriage took place quietly at the home of the bride's parents on Monday, and they left on the evening train for a trip to Los Angeles. An-geles. They will make their home in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Welsh of Park City visited Mr. and Mrs. James Ivors last week. Don McGuire of Ogden was in Salt Lake last week. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Goulct are the happy parents of a sweet new daughter. daugh-ter. Mr. and Mrs. Simon Bamberger and daughter, "Elsie, will return Saturday from New York, where they spent the winter. Mrs. Frank Knox has returned from Boston, after visiting her son, De itt Knox, at Phillips-Andover academy. A. J. Bruneau, formerly manager of the- Security Abstract company, by becoming be-coming manager of the Old Glory and Dominion companies, has resigned from tha former company, and has offices in the Dooly block. Phil S. O'Mara, president of the Auditorium Skating Rink association, has gone to New: York to be gone several sev-eral weeks While in the cast Mr. O'Mara will place an order for the equipment of the cog-wheel road which is to be built from Ogden to Mahalin's Heights, and then on to Observatory P:i(.k. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Donoher will be at home after this week at 207 East South Temple street. Mr, and Mrs. A. G. Mackenzie will shortly be back in their own homo at 21 Fifth East street. Mrs. Dennis Sheehan has returned to h'-r home in Ronyi.s, W'yo.. after a week's visit with Mrs. Aimer Luman. Mrs. J. H. Beiluss entertained at 500 Wednesday afternoon at her pretty apartments in the Pauline Hats. The hostess was assisted during the- afternoon after-noon by Mrs. George Forrester. The rooms were beautifully decorated with spring flowers and the function was a most enjoyable one. The Utopia club was entertained Wednesday by Mrs. 10. A. Wall. .Mrs. George Moore wejn the guest prize. Mrs. J. W. Houston and Mrs. C. C. Orismon club prizes. The guests were Mrs. George A. Black. Mrs. F. L. Oswald, Mrs. Fred Wey. Mrs. Harkness, Mrs. T. R.cy Brown. Miss Davidson. Mrs. George Moore and Miss Louise Wey. The next meeting will be with Mi's. Pauline Sands. The many friends of John Trewhela in this city, where he spent much time as traveling freight agent of t eh Rock Island, will be glad to learn that he hac been promoted to the position of commercial agent of the Rock Island at Seattle. |
