Show Obituary. Mrs. Catherine Agnes Higgins, after long weeks of terrible suffering borne with truly Christian fortitude, was called to her ternal reward Friday evening, March 29. Mrs. Higgins was born in Limerick, Ireland, sixty-five years ago, but her girlhood was passed in lyondon. where also she spent her early married life. Mrs. Higgins and her husband, t lie late Michael Higgins, were pioneer set-i set-i tiers in Derver. and among the first residents re-sidents of Sacred Heart parish, where sh" leaves hosts of friends. Her simple, sim-ple, childlike faith, her unfailing chari-tv chari-tv and love of her fellow creatures endeared en-deared her to all. and her death leaves an aching void in many hearts. Mrs. Higgins is survived by two sons, Joseph Jo-seph M. Higgins of Coiuo, Colo., and Patrick Higgins. at present in Twin Falls, Ida., and three daughters. Mrs. Mary Kelly. Mrs. Edward Connell and Mrs. Alice A. Daly, at whose home, .ri29 South Washington avenue, she died. Sh'"' also leaves ten grandchildren, who were the objects of her most loving so licitud". The funeral took place Monday Mon-day morning. April 1. from St. Francis de Sales church, where Rev. Father Donnelly celebrated high requiem mass. Rev. Father McManus spoke a few-words few-words on the lesson to be drawn from such a holy life crowned by so peaceful and hanpy a death on the day of the Savior's own death. The music was hy thr regular choir, with Mrs. McCallister McCallis-ter as organist. Messrs. Julius Aiehele. Patrick Ford. Frank Kiatke and Dr. John Hammill acted as pall-bearers. The remains were interred in Mount Calvary cemetery. Mrs. May Doyle, wife of Thomas T. M. Doyle of 719 South Tremont street, died at her home on Sunday. March 24. afier a few h:Hir' illness. Mrs. Doyle was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dooh y of 700 Santa Fe avenue, and was married hut five months when calied by death. The funeral took place Wednesday Wed-nesday meriting from Si. Joseph's church. Interment was in Mount Olivet cemetery. The funeral of Delia Welsh occurred Wednesday morning. March 27. from Logan Avenue chapel. Burial in Mount Calvary cemetery. Mr. John Joseph Moran of 2tj."M Seventeenth Sev-enteenth street, died on Friday. March 29. and was buried in Mount Olivet cemetery Monday afternoon. April 1. the funeral being under the auspices of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, of which deceased was a mem her. The funeral of Timothy M. Edwin Clayton Hanrahan, Hie 2-ycar-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Hanrahan, of 293G Vine street, died at t the family home on Thursday. Larkin. the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Larkin, was buried bu-ried Sunday afternoon. March 31. from his parents' home. 2737 Lawrence street. Interment was in Mount Calvary cemetery. ceme-tery. Interment Inter-ment was in Mount Olivet cemetery. 1 News was received in Denver during the week of the death in Salt Lake City of Mrs. J. J. Meyers. Mrs. Meyers was a resident of Denver previous to her marriage, and as Miss Mary C. Day is still fondly remembered. Mr. Jeremiah M. Crowley passed away on Saturday. March 30, at his home, 1274 Hamilton avenue. The funeral fu-neral occurred Tuesday morning, April 2, from St. Francis de Sales church.
