Father Gueymard of Salt Lake accompanied Father O'Brien on a flying fly-ing visit to Helena on Thursday last. j Rev. M. J. Murphy, S. M., of Salt Lake, will deliver a sermon on "The Sacred Heart" at St. Patrick's on Sunday, Sun-day, Dec. 31. I Father Harrington of St. Patrick's is all at St. James' hospital. Latest re-, ports stated that the reverend gentleman gentle-man was improving. Fathers Dubois and Rulguin -of All Hallows came over from Anaconda on Thursday and paid Butte aviit ere they departed for Salt Lake. - Father Batens of Walkerville, who has been quite ill with a severe attack of ; cold, which settled in the bronchial tubes, is now rapidly recovering. A' happy gathering will celebrate the Isew Year on next Monday evening at the T. M. I. parlors. That "we will have a jolly time" goes without saying. Master Leo Moran and his little sister, sis-ter, from Helena academy, are gladdening glad-dening the home roof tree during the holidays. Master Leo is one of All Hallows' Hal-lows' best and brightest boys. The Sisters 6f St. Patrick's parochial school were ,the happy reciDients on Friday, Dec. 22, of a handsome glass front bookcase of excentional finish nnrl workmanship, the gift of Mr. D. J. Hennessy. Dr. McKendry of the Butte Optical company enjoyed his "Christmas cheer" in Pocatello. That the doctor had a good, homelike time goes without saying. say-ing. Pocatello people are noted for hospitality. Masters Creighton Largey and Ransom Ran-som Rice of All Hallows college are home enjoying the holidays. Both young gentlemen made a very creditable showing during Christmas services at St. Patrick's. Sister Callista of St. Patrick's school, who has been ill for some months past at St. James' hospital, will soon be able to resume work among her classes. The children will certainly welcome the return of such a sunny disposition. ., . Patrick Joyce, killed by falling rock in St. Lawrence mine on Dec. 24, was buried on Dec. 26. The funeral took place from the residence of his cousin, Mr. Patrick B. Kanes, 435 Anaconda road. Requiem High Mass at St. Patrick's. Pat-rick's. S- James Harrington, nephew of Father Harrington, had his left arm broken on Saturday last. The lad was playing with other boys at his home in Dublin Dub-lin gulch and ran against the side of a building with such force that the bone of the left forearm was broken. The fracture was reduced by Dr. Alexander Alexan-der at the Sisters' hospital. The lad seems-to be rather unfortunate, as it was only a short time ago that he met with a similar accident. |
