Mr. Adam Simpson, who has been attending at-tending the medical college at Denver, is spending his Christmas vacation, with his parents on East Ninth street. Mr. William Patterson of Butte, Mont., is .visiting his parents. Mr si Dunn of East Sixth street is quite ill. Miss Katie Hart left Tuesday for Lafayette, Ind. Mr. and Mrs. Crowe are spending the holidays in Denver. John and Mary Walsh are home for ; their Christmas vacation. Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Rogers are spending spend-ing the holidays in Denver. Mr. Flood, who was quite ill for a few weeks, ig again able to be out. - Mr. R. H. Blose "will spend a few days in Denver for the benefit of his health. Mies Fanny "O'Leary is spending the holidays at Creed and Colorado Springs. Mr. and Mrs. Winters Morrell entertained enter-tained a few of their friends at dinner Christmas. Willie and Annie McCarty returned from Denver, Dec. 24, to &pend Christmas Christ-mas with their parents. 1 Miss Isabella Slavin, accompanied by her sister Lena, left Dec. 24 for Cripple Creek to visit their father. Miss Nellie Cronin, who was absent for several weeks visiting her aunt at Rifle, has returned home. - - Mr. Thomas Keating, who has been ill for some time, was removed to St. Vincent's hospital last week. . r . Mr. John O'Neill and nephew, Mr.' Foley, left Dec.. 23 to spend their Christmas vacation in Denver. ! Mr. and Mrs. P. Barker of East Sixth street entertained at dinner Christmas Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Peardon and daughter Blanche. ' Mrs. John Heagerty of East Fifth street, who has been dangerously ill for the past week,' was removed to St. Anthony's hospital in Denver. Master John Muhan, who has been attending the Sacred. Heart college at Denver, has returned home. He is much improved from his recent illness. Mrs. E. A. Homer received the sad intelligence of the death of her only brother, who was accidentally killed Monday, Dec. 23, at Lafayette, Ind. Mrs. Horner left on the 2Cth to be present pres-ent at the funeral. Mr. John O'Hara, who was- so seriously seri-ously injured at St. Elmo, was brought to this city and taken, to St. Vincent's hospital. Little hope is entertained of his recovers'- The injured man was a resident of Leadville for a number of years. - Mr. James Golden of East Fifth street died at his home Dec. 24. Mr. i Golden, was an old pioneer of Leadville, Lead-ville, having liyed here for the past twenty-two years. The funeral took place Tuesday morning from the Church of the Annunciation. The' deceased de-ceased was a member of the C. K. & L. of A. The society attended the funeral fu-neral in a body. |
