A rumor which has been carefuljy circulated in Denver to the effect that Mrs. Marie Duffy Atwoood, formerly of this city, and now of Los Angeles, was to be n June bride is denied by Mrs. Atwood in a letter to her mother, Mrs. Duffy. Mrs. Helen Duffy and Miss Winifred Duffy have just returned re-turned -to the city after a protracted sojourn in distant parts, and are at home at 1750 Lafayette street. Mrs. Atwood says she has no intention of being married. John A. Flynn of 1822 Clarkson street returned Monday evening from a three months' stay in the east.
