Mrs. Dunne's funeral occurred Saturday Sat-urday morning from St. Leo's church, j which was filled with friends ami a 1-miitrs 1-miitrs of the dead woman, and repv-st repv-st r.tatives of the various Cathode societies so-cieties with whi -h he was affiliated. In beautiful terms ho spoke of her sterling qualities as a Christian, a wife, a mother, a friend anil pronounced her a jewel in the church. Mr. J. M. Cari o and Mr. P. Henehan. Mrs. Dunne is survived sur-vived by two daughters, Mrs. Madeline Wheeelcr and Mrs. Charles Mr-Master of Leadville. and" a son, Harry J. Dunne, with whom she made her home. The son is the oldest and most reliable engineer in the service of the Colorado Southern railway. ' having beeen with the company continuously since 1SS3. She was buried Saturday afternoon in Ri-vrrside Ri-vrrside cemetery. Mr. Charles W. .Allen, president of the Allen Coffee & Spice cotnoanv. died on Friday. Jan. IS, at his home, Race street. Mr. Allen, though not a member of the Catholic faith, was always al-ways a firm supporter of Catholic institutions, in-stitutions, as Ids wife and fimirhters were prominent members of the Cathedral Cath-edral iarish. Mrs. Allen, who died a few months ago in Caliiorr.ia, where she had gone for her health, was a charter m-mber of the Sacred Heart Aid society, and is still deeply mourned in its rank. Mr. Allen's only surviving relative is his daughter. Mrs. Kstclle Alien Jones. Mr. John Sullivan of 3-jlo Clear Creek avenue, died on Thursday, Jan. 17. and was buried from St. Patrick's church Saturday afternoon. Interment was. in Mount Calvary cemeterv. Mrs. Thomas Tracy was buried Friday Fri-day morning- from Sacred Heart church, where requiem mass was said for the r-pose of her soul. Interment was In Mount Calvary cemetery. . Mrs. Catherine Purcell. mother of Mrs. Peter Holland, died last week at her daughter's home, 1310 East Colfax avenue. The funeral occurred Tuesday morning. Jan, 22, with requiem mass at Logan Avenue chapel. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery. |
