Mendon A Mothers' day program pro-gram was given Sunday under the direction of the Sunday school su-perintendency su-perintendency with Supt. Claud A. Sorensen in charge. The program consisted of the folowing numbers: Two minute talks in honor of Mother were given by Virginia Wood and John D. Baker Jr; song Nancy Hardman, accompanied by Mrs. Ellen Ladle; song, Geneal Hughes; vocal sold, John O. Hurhes, accompanied by Mrs. Perry Morgan; reading, Mrs. Roy Jenkins; girls chorus, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Hilda Whitney; duet by Owen and Cleo Kidman, accompanied ac-companied by Wanda Kidman; I thorbone solo, Madall Hancock I with Mrs. Marve Bartlett as ac-i ac-i companish; Reed Probst, teacher at South Cache Seminary, gave a j Mothers' day talk; prayers were by Chaplain Earl Buist. Mendon ward was highly favored fa-vored by having the Providence Second ward present their cantata "Sun Rise," directed by Mathew. Alto solo, Alta Kendriek; soprano solo, Mrs. Elva Fuhriman; ladies' and Men's chorus; basso solo, Arthur Ar-thur Olson; tenor solo and choir H. B. Campbell; duet by Mr. and Mrs, Arthur Olson; quartet. Elva Fuhriman, Dora Jenkins, H. B. Campbell and Denton Mathews; choir and four violinists gave many beautiful numbers. Bridge club was held at Mrs Mrs. Verna Hancock's home; The high score was won by Mrs. Alice Al-ice Stauffer; all cut prizes won by Mrs. Delone Larsen. Lunch was served at bridge tables to Mes- |
