Mr. and Mrs. Elliot Budge and family of Pocatello, are spending spend-ing the week as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Seth Budge. Ray Larson visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Larson on Mothers' day. He left for Salt Lake City Monday. Thursday evening he left for New York, where he will sail for Holland to fulfill a mission for the L.D.S. church. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Larson and family, and several relatives from Logan, motored to Ogden Thursday evening to bid Ray Farewell. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Larson entertained at a family dinner party Sunday at their home in honor of Ray prior to leaving for Holland. North Logan North Logan The Primary association as-sociation held their May festival Wednesday evening in the ward . amusement hall. The presidency, Mrs. Lucile Peterson, Mrs. Eula-lia Eula-lia M. Johnson and Mrs. Delia ! Cronquist were In charge. Beth Johnson was crowned queen of the festival with a group of little lit-tle girls as her attendants. About 80 children participated in the program and all were, dressed in appropriate costumes for the occasion, oc-casion, which mado a cnarming picture. Among the characters were: bees, birds, and flosrers. Folk dances, songs, and drills were attractive features of the entertainment. Braiding of the May pole concluded the program. pro-gram. A birth-dya birth-dya cake with candles centered the table. The afternoon was enjoyed in games. Several Relief society sisters attended the programs, hobby show and the seventieth anniversary anni-versary of the founding of the Relief Society Tuesday at the Fourth ward chapei at Logan. ' Maughan, who were injured in j an automobile accident Monday night on the south side of the i Logan river bridge are recovering recover-ing nicely. Mr. Nyman is still in the hospital being treated for a broken breast bone, while Mr. Maughan is at home, recovering from an injured ankle and bodily bod-ily bruises and shock. Mr. and Mrs. John Krebs announce an-nounce the marriage of their charming daughter Emma to Earl Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. I John T. Anderson of Providence. The ceremony was ' performed Thursday, May 19, in the Logan temple by President Joseph E. Quinney. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was given by Mr. and Mrs. John Krebs for the two families. The table and rooms were decorated in spring flowers. Miss Krebs is a graduate of the South Cache high school and attended the U.S.A.C. one year. Mr. Anderson has recently returned re-turned from an L.D.S. mission in Germany. The young couple left immediately after the dinner for a short wedding trip, after which they will mak their home in Providence. Mrs. John Krebs presided at a lovely trousseau tea at her home Sunday, given in honor of her daughter Emma. In the receiving line were Mrs. Krebs, Mrs. Marie Berger and Mrs. Hulda Wilson ot Salt Lake City; others assisting were Miss Ruth . Krebs, Misses Gladys and Wanda Berger ot Benson and Miss Joan Peterson. About 125 guests called during the appointed ap-pointed hours. Many beautiful and useful gifts were received by the bride. The following students from here accompanied the music department de-partment of the South Cache Hit?h school to Provo Saturday, where they participated in the |
