Show Training Camp At Fort Douglas Fills Rapidly Official notification from Headquarters Head-quarters Fort DougCas is being sent to the following list of young men that they have satisfactorily qualified for attendance at the C. M. T. Camp which will be held at Fort Douglas, JuOy 6, to August 4 this summer, and that they will be ordered to report there on July 6. 1 Following is a list tit candidates accepted from Ogden, Utah. ' R. P. Day, E. J. Edvalson, Charles Char-les W. Jones, D. L. McCOenahan. ' D. M. Parkinson. This first list of acceptances contains candidates for all foui , courses to be held lat the cam; known as Red, White, Blue or Basic. Ba-sic. The Blue Course is comprised oi candidates who have attended three previous camps. They will act n the capacity of officers this year, assisting in the instruction of the other three courses and will also have an opportunity for securing a commission as Second Lieutenant in the Reserve Corps of the Army upon completion of the camp. The White Course is comprised ox canaiaawss who xiave auiiiucu two previous camps. They will act in the capacity of N.O.O.S and also al-so assist in instructing the two lower courses. The Red candidates who have had one previous year at camp or other equivalent military training will be instructed in Machine Gun work in addition to their regular camp schedule. This is the only course which affords an opportunity oppor-tunity for firing the machine gun. The Basics wiK fire the rifle, the Whites the automatic Rifle and the Blues, the Pistols. The Basic Course is for candidates candi-dates in their first year and in addition to drill, physical exercise and athletics will also study First Aid, Sanitation, Citizenship and Discipline. Appications for the camp were made very rapidly after the opening open-ing announcement some weeks ago. The few remaining vacancies are fast being filled and any who intend in-tend to apply for this years camp are advised to do so immediately by getting in touch with their county representative for the C.
