Show Civil Service Examinations The United States Civil Service Ser-vice commission has announced an open competitive examination for the position of Medical Technician Tech-nician (Field Roentgenology). The entrance salary is $1,800 a year, less a deduction of 3 percent toward a retirement annuity. Applicants must have completed a full 4-year high school course or 14 units of high school study acceptable for college entrance, or in lieu of the high school training, train-ing, must pass a mental test, in addition, experience in connection with X-ray work is required, including in-cluding one year of X-ray experience exper-ience in chest radiographic work in traveling cinics using portable equipment.
