J During the past fiscal year, 2114 young men of the intermountain re- gion applied for enlistment in the United States navy through the Salt Lake recruiting district. Of this num- J ber, 383 were actually enlisted. While there will be a big increase in enlistments enlist-ments during the next fiscal year, the qualifications for enlistment will remain re-main the same, that is: applicants must pass a rigid physical and men- jtal examination; be of excellent character; char-acter; between the ages of 17 and 25 |
