Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST j - Mrs. Leo Gledhill motored to Salt Lake Tuesday and she will spend the week there visiting with her son, Richard, prior to his departure as a missionary to the British Isles. Richard Rich-ard has completed his training and will leave Salt Lake tonight. Orville Hansen, post commander for Gunnison Guard Mount, post 104, American Legion, accompanied by Tony Villard, attended the funeral services held for Jarvis F. Martin at Salina Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Roper came in from Salt Lake last Saturday evening even-ing and remained over until Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marius Jensen. D. H. Whittenburg, agricultural superintendent for the Gunnison Sugar Su-gar company, accompanied by Mrs. Whittenburg, motored to Salt Lake Tuesday morning. Mrs. P. G. Larson, who spent a week visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marius Jensen, Jen-sen, has returned to her home at Salt Lake. Mr. and T. F. Tilton of Kimberley, spent Monday and Tuesday here. While in the city they were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gribble. E. C. WOlardson of Ephraim, Dr. and Mrs. F. W. Tuttle of Manti, and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Tietjen of Monroe, Mon-roe, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Beauregard Sunday afternoon. |
