Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Miss Francis Childs entertained "ifrht little girls Tuesday afternoon, when she celebrated her 9th birthday mn'versary. Indoor games and a dainty dain-ty lunoheon served by Mrs. Childs, were the big features of the party. Mrs. Belle McKenna, Royal McKen-na McKen-na and Vearl Wilkinson came down from Salt Lake last week-end and remained re-mained over Sunday visiting with friends and relatives and attending to business matters. Bishop and Mrs. Leslie Kidman attended at-tended the dance at Richfield Saturday Satur-day evening, given at the new Ar-nory, Ar-nory, which was formally opened to the public Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Edna Sorenson of Centerfield, was taken to the Salina hospital Sunday, Sun-day, and Monday she underwent an operation for appendicitis. Dr. Hagan issisted in the operation. Major M. H. Lund and Mrs. Lund, who attended the dedication of the new Armory at Richfield Saturday, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Lund at Clarion. B. Pally and son, Alex, are in the "ity from Los Angeles. Mr. Pally, a former resident of Gunnison, is here looking after his business interests. |
