Show EDUCATION OVER THE AIR. A fine example of the educational value of the radio is found in . the second series of "Listen and Learn" lectures now being given under the auspices of the National Advisory Council on Radio in Education, over the National Broadcasting company's network. Nationally known authorities authori-ties on economics, psychology,, and other subjects are being heard. The series has proved that where there is a sincere desire, educators and broadcasters can get along with out stepping on each other's toes, by sensible cooperation and organized effort. The council has received nearly 100,000 letters from listeners in all parts of the country who desire tr ! learn of the forces now at work in the world. |
