Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Ira Overfelt, Chas. Rasmussen, D. H. Whittenburg, Moyle Rasmussen and Royal Buchanan comprised a party par-ty who searched out the haunts-of the sage hen Saturday, returning with limits. Mrs. Lauritz Anderson and Mrs. Clyde Stevens of Ephraim, were week-end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Rasmussen. Dr. and Mrs. N. J. Rees and family, fam-ily, who spent several days at Fish-lake, Fish-lake, were guests for a few hours Monday of their son, Dr. G. Stanford Rees, and family. The party left for their home at Salt Lake late Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Erickson were in from the Erickson ranch the first of the week, looking after business matters. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Rosenvall were week-end visitors at Fishlake. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Peterson, who spent a week at the resort. The party returned home Saturday Sat-urday evening. Miles Madsen, former well known Gunnison resident, came in from his home at Long Beach, Calif., Thursday Thurs-day of last week. He was a guest at the home of Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan until Wednesday, when he returned to the coast. He was accompanied west by his son, Eddie, who spent two months at the Hagan home. Mrs. Ellen Hofheins Kearns, chief clerk at the Telluride Power company's com-pany's offices, is spending a vacation and is visiting with relatives and friends at American Fork and other northern cities. Miss Aleda Christiansen, who was called to the bedside of her mother, due to the latter's sickness, some six weeks ago, returned to Salt Lake Saturday. Miss Christiansen is a student stu-dent at Henager's business college and she plans to complete her course in about a month. Geo. White representing the Telluride Tellu-ride Power company in electrical specialties, was here from Richfield Wednesday. J. W. Jones, with the state bank examiner forces, made a brief stop here Tuesday on his way south. Mr. Jones was returning from Salt Lake, where he had attended the funeral services of Mrs. W. H. Hadlock, wife of State Bank Examiner Hadlock. Mrs. Mary Madsen and Mrs. H. S. Linnell, Salt Lake, were week-end visitors vis-itors at the home of Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan. |
